For one of my earlier projects at the zoo, I was tasked with livening up the front of the Gates Education Center façade. The importance of incorporating the core values was at the forefront but I wanted to express the link between not only our animals but our nonprofit efforts in Colorado, Peru & Vietnam. So on the eastern-facing pillars, I used images of some of our more popular animals with their eyes facing the camera to establish a connection to the guest. On the Western walls, I used photos of our guests, volunteers, and specialists interacting with animals.
The Gate 9 pillars were focused on the closest exhibit in proximity to the location which is the Flamingo exhibit.

In February 2022 the newly built Flamingo habitat opened at the Denver Zoo and I was lead for the new look & feel of the entire wing. This was planned to be the kickoff of the new Latin America wing so it was the stepstone for the masterplan of remodeling the exhibits.
